The current climate seems to be loosening it a bit, but their propensity add fees onto add-on fees remains undiminished. I have never flown JetBlue because they "cleverly" schedule their DEN-JFK service to miss virtually all international connections. I have become fond of Southwest and fly it whenever possible.
